Meet Sean Lorch

Hello and thank you for coming to my site! I help my clients buy and sell homes, villas & condos in Naples, Estero, and Bonita Springs, Florida. I also have realtors that I work with who help me cover Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Marco Island.

Buyer Services:

I provide value to my buyers by helping them compare & contrast properties & neighborhoods to ensure we find the best possible fit. There are hundreds of communities out there and even if you are locked in on one I can show you comparable communities, which at the very least, will help your negotiating position when bidding on your favorite property. The last thing you want is to make a purchase only to regret it later so I'll make sure we do it right the first time! I'm also a RENE (real estate negotiation expert) which I use to my buyer's advantage. It's just as important to know when to negotiate and when to take the deal.  Not knowing this can be the difference in getting the deal or leaving money on the table. Once we find and contract a property, I remain personally available every step of the way until we close (and beyond) so you have professional guidance the entire way. I also have vetted painters, electricians, plumbers etc that I can share with you.

About me:

I've been a realtor since 2004, and I also appraised real estate for 9 years. My appraisal knowledge helps me serve my clients more as an advisor and not so much as a pushy salesperson. Nobody likes being "sold," so I am never pushy.  I also like to write real estate related articles

Feel free to google my name to see what my clients are saying about me.

On the personal side, I was raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago near the Wisconsin border. When I was young, I was obsessed with golf and hoped to make it to the PGA Tour. I ultimately realized that professional golf wasn’t going to happen, and decided to become a real estate appraiser in 2001. After obtaining more than 2,500 hours of experience, I became a certified appraiser. I initially didn't want to become a real estate agent because I didn’t want to be a “pushy salesperson,” but soon realized that I could be a different breed of real estate agent by acting more as a consultant than a salesperson. With this in mind, I went on to acquire my real estate license in 2004, and the rest, as they say, is history. In 2006, after meeting additional education requirements, I upgraded my real estate license to become a real estate broker. I then went on to establish Northwest Suburban Real Estate in Northern Illinois. In addition to managing the office, I built a team of professionals and continued to sell real estate. I sold real estate and appraised until 2011 when I gave up formal appraising so I could focus on selling real estate. In 2015, after 11 years of selling real estate in Illinois, my allergies, combined with a complete and total hatred of cold weather, lead me to sunny Southwest Florida. I absolutely love it here, and I'm proud to be with the area’s top real estate firm: Downing-Frye Realty, which has been in the Naples market since the 1960s.

When I'm not working I enjoy golf, biking, walking, fishing, and spending time with my wife, Lindsay.
